In my commissioned artwork I usually aim for a detailed portrait of you, embraced in your own familiar environment. I base the portrait on photos and /or collages of photos that you provide.
I usually search for a clear focus point and use a quick and energetic style for the surroundings. In my view, the dialogue between the focus point and its surroundings forces the viewer to really explore the whole surface, which intensifies the portrait.
